To Do
Apart from all the unique and beautiful places to see at Visiwa Estate, we always add some fun and interesting activities. Below is a list of a few to get you started - others you will need to discover yourself :
- Feed the fish
We have ultra-realistic sculpted fish swimming around at Visiwa (and they swim with pretty natural motion too! … and ‘jump’). Actually if you want some fun, push them around … they are physical. But if you want to be nice to them, wherever you see a piece of bread (like outside the Bar on Kijiji village), click it a few times to throw some bread pieces in for them. You may have to wait a while for them to smell the bread … specially if they are having fun in their own school, but if you are patient and keep throwing a bit, they’ll soon enough be gulping it down!
- Ride the Turtle
There is a Leatherback turtle that frequents Chago (Crab) Isle reef. If you don’t know what a Leatherback turtle is, its one of the largest turtles, and very close to extinction so an endangered species … so please look after her!
Some rumors have been heard that she actually lays her eggs on Chago, but no photographic proof has been captured yet. What she does do is often visit the Chago beach near where she supposedly lays eggs … maybe waiting for hatch-lings?
She doesn’t mind peaceful people catching a ride on her back … so if you wait at Chago, try click on her when she comes by.
- Shopping
Of course, theres always some good shopping at Visiwa. As we are an upmarket estate, we have some of SL’s™ best businesses represented. We are not a laggy mall though, and will never be.
- Hot-Air-Balloon flight
You can have a wonderfull view over the whole of Visiwa with all its sims. Its not a balloon tour like you may have experienced on other sims. Here YOU are the captain!
Hold the PageUp Key in to burn propane gas and get altitude, left and right, forward and back keys to navigate! This is absolutely great fun and a must for all. Two passengers can join your flight, so it makes a brilliant start to a romantic date - land on the beach or an open private spot and have a picnic! Be carful with the gas you can get in trouble if you use it up too fast
And if you need to drop sandbags to gain height, don’t drop them on people! It can be dangerous.
- Ride Bumperboats with friends!
In our port of Kijiji as well as on the main public beach at Visiwa you can find bumper-boat rezzers. Just click them to rez an awesome and fun bumper boat! Try get someone to challenge you. The boats have ‘health’ so if you get bashed up fast get ready to swim!
- Events
Each Wednesday at 1 PM and Saturday at 2 PM PDT / SLT we host live music concerts from some of SL’s best performers, and we do street-dancing. We are blessed to have excellent musicans like Quinton Whitman, BartAlan Barbasz, Mike00 Carnell, Mats Milev, Rapture Damnone and Tauri Tigerpaw and they entertain us happy with there great performances in our gorgeous realistic setting.
If you are a musican and if you would like to perform here, IM Lucie Laval.
This is always a great experience and needs to be on the top of your priorities list.
Because we get many requests we are continually extending our program and add more live-events. Dont miss it!
- Markets & EXPO´s
On Kijiji and Mwituni we celebrate our seasonal Markets and EXPO´s. We started with a very successful Christmas Market in 2008, and we added the romantic Valentine and Easter Markets as well as our Summer Market. In May we had our first Art EXPO showcasing the best art in SL from some amazing artists. Around the harbor you can use free stalls (max 10 prims) or easels if art expo to sell or give your stuff away.
We thank all exhibitors who contribute to making this such a successful event in the spirit of Visiwa.
If you are interest to get a free stall or easels in future here, IM Lucie Laval or join our visiwa event group (free entry) to get early Info about our Markets and EXPO´s.
- Pool Billard
What about a Pool / Billards Match? In the Café next to the landing-point is a pool table. You can play there alone ( practice) or make a match with friends. Be sure to stay on the red carpet while playing if you are not in our group. Our retired champion is IAm Zabelin.
- Relaxing
Those who enjoy relaxing on a quiet romantic spot, will find it on our wonderfull beaches. The main public beach invites you to swim (click a blue swimball to swim), and if you swim out towards Crab island you can ride a Leatherback (almost extinct in RL) turtle and dive into the reef.
You can enjoy a warming sit and chat around our open fireplace, protected between the rocks with an awsome view over the sea. There are woven matts around the fire to sit on, or sit on the rock, lay on the hanging palm trunk or drift-wood. Dont fall down!
For romantics, at one end of the beach there is a little pier with roof and a smooth pillow to sit together watch and enjoy the sunrise.
Those who like a protected spot will love the forest at mwituni. There you can try to find the picnic place and enjoy it with a friend. A bit lower down you will find the awesome Royal Pool where the Royals go for their morning and evening swims. From there you can stroll a wonderful forest pathway back to the village passing the Royal Gardens at the Palace Of the Lost City.
You will find romanic places all over Visiwa sims to relax and enjoy - 70% of our estate is specially built for this purpose.
